APPLICATIONS TO FILL VACANT VILLAGE TRUSTEE POSITION VILLAGE OF HALES CORNERS

 The Village of Hales Corners has a vacancy on its Board of Trustees. The vacancy was created due to a resignation on January 12, 2026. Requests for consideration for the appointment to this position are being sought by the Village Board. The appointment shall be for the remainder of the term expiring on April 17, 2028.

Minimum Qualifications for the appointment are 1) the individual be a qualified elector (resident) in the Village of Hales Corners, 2) be at least 18 years of age and 3) be able to comply with Article XIII, section 3 of the Wisconsin Constitution which prohibits a person from holding public office or from appearing on the ballot for state or local office if the person has been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor involving a violation of public trust, unless pardoned.

Interested parties shall submit a resume and written request to be considered to the Village Administrator no later than 1:00 p.m. on April 8, 2026. The Village Board will be considering requests for appointment at the April 13, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting with the intention to forward a recommendation for appointment to the Board of Trustee’s at the April 27, 2026 meeting.
