All dogs and cats five months of age or older must be licensed.  Proof of neutering or spaying and rabies vaccination are required to obtain a license.   The fee for spayed or neutered animals is $12 and for non-altered animals is $24.

Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) will mail renewal postcards to existing licensed pet owners in December.  The postcard will explain the licensing options.

You may still license your pet in person at the Village Hall during regular business hours or via mail.  You may also license your pet in person or via mail at the MADACC facility located at 3839 W. Burnham Street, West Milwaukee.  A third option now available is licensing your pet on the MADACC website www.madacc.com with a credit card.

Pets must be licensed prior to April 1 of each year.  A late fee of $6 for spayed or neutered pets and $12 for non-altered pets is applied  beginning April 1.
