On Monday October 6, 2025 the Hales Corners Fire Department along with 5 other agencies responded to the report of a fire at the Hale House Restaurant. The time of dispatch was 3:41am. Upon arrival of the first engine company, the crew found a fire on the exterior of the building that had spread to the interior area of the kitchen. The fire was brought under control by 4:06am. 

The fire was discovered by two people passing by on West Forest Home Ave. They called 911.

The investigation revealed a possible origin of the fire to be a “towel bin” outside of but adjacent to the building. The ignition source is unknown at this time

There were no injuries to any citizens or firefighters. The restaurant will be closed until further notice.
